According to the great Islamic scholar Ali Ibn Abi Talib, self-acknowledgment is the highest form of knowledge.
“One who does not recognize his value will not know the value of anything,” said Imam Ali.
As sensible Muslims, we should ask why self-awareness is so critical and how we can achieve it if it is so important.
Life is empty, of self-awareness is worthless and bland. Because such a person sees life as meaningless and does not recognize his significance in this world, he regards everything as pointless and insignificant.
There may be many ways to achieve peak self-awareness, but According to our research, there is one easy and delightful method. And we’ll talk about it in this article. We named this method LOVE.
Yes, you can achieve the goal of acquiring self-awareness only by loving someone.
What is Love?
Love is the emotional bond formed between two members of the same entity on this planet, beginning with the appreciation of physical appearance and culminating in the appreciation of spiritual appearance. It is the only existing relationship that moves from conditional to unconditional order.
How is Love?
It is hard to mend feelings into words, but we will try our best to do it; here is my question: How can one tell if he is in love? Our thought patterns are the first thing that loves alters. We can feel love when we discover about ourselves because of someone, whether physical, Spiritual, or moral acknowledgment.
Why is Love?
Why we get in love is the main query. According to scientific studies, love is a healthy, natural emotion that doesn’t require external stimuli. Love can not be taught. As it originated in human life in the bond between mother and child, love is the first thing one experiences. Shortly we concluded that good things are meant to happen; we cannot control them. It’s Granting of Allah as Allah says in Quran:
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءًۭ فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ
{Ale Imran 3:103}
“Remember the granting of Allah, when you were enemies, Allah induced Love among your hearts, and you did it by the blessing of Allah.”
Stages of Love: (زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ){Ale Imran 3:14}
Human love can never be completed without a Woman. If we describe(not translate) the given verse of the Quran, “The world’s beauty is owing to the attractiveness of a woman.” Hence being adored is in a woman’s nature.
Worldly Philosophies:
When it comes to the most natural and philosophical Greeks, there are four stages of love: (Platonic Love)
- Acquaintance ( Called love at first sight )
- Friendship ( Sacrifices led by compromises)
- Eros (Sexual desires) ( When it comes to Islam “Nikkah”)
- Agape, Wisdom (Love with God)
They contend that love cannot be attained without going through these phases.
How is Love a Source of self-acknowledgment?
As we concluded, self-awareness is a requirement for the presence of love. They both are juxtapositions and Concomitance.
Conclusion:
Our explanation may be summarised by saying that love is neither haram nor halal; it is Vital. And we don’t fall in love; factually, we Ascend in Love.
